We congratulate the Australian Greens for a historic victory in the polls last Saturday. Now they will hold the balance of power in congress allowing green policies & programs to have more influence.

We are concern about DENR Secretary Paje's effort at "clarifying" the definition of open pit mining in this country where definition changes reality for the worst.We support calls for the ongoing Nagoya Global Biodiversity Talks to bring back the centrality of biodiversity issues amidst the climate change and dessertification negotiations.
